Panthers vs. Buccaneers 2016 odds: Carolina favored on the road

The Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to face off in Week 8’s Thursday Night Football matchup. Carolina, at 3-3, is looking to extend a two-game winning streak by beating up on their winless (0-6) NFC South rivals. The game will be in Tampa Bay, but home-field advantage has done the Buccaneers little good thus far.

The over/under for the matchup is hovering right around 40 points. That total has gone under in four of Carolina’s last six games, and in 13 of Tampa Bay’s last 17 games.

Every NFL expert across Yahoo! Sports, CBS Sports and ESPN is currently projecting New Orleans to win at home. Even against the spread, none of CBS Sports’ eight experts were willing to entertain the idea of the Bills covering as 7.5-point underdogs.

The Bills have some good things going for them, including a solid running game behind C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson, and a front seven spearheaded by Mario Williams and rookie Kiko Alonso. Hoping that they can take down the Saints appears to be too much to ask, however.

Most people have gotten smart and only send pictures of the lower half of their bodies. Half-body pictures make for headlines like “Is this [player’s] dick?” and no one really wants to click on that since it implies you have a keen interest in helping to determine whether or not the dick in question actually belongs to that player, with every pageview implying yet another person who believes they could confirm or deny the verdict.
